Monday morning we headed into Branson.
We had a little time to kill so we checked out another park on the property.
The kids were all over there making "sand cakes" and talking about their flavors. We have been into watching the show is it cake and so it was funny hearing their little voices talk about curds, crumbles, and meringues.
First stop was the Branson Scenic Railway.
We ate our lunch on the train. It was pretty but a little less scenic then we thought but it was novel. Going through tunnels, walking through the cars to get places it was fun!
After the train we walked around like a tourist area.
On our walk I think one of the kids picked this up and showed Grandpa. He looked at it (without really knowing what it was) and handed it back and said "thats cool." Later Steve and I had a look at it and had a good laugh that he just handed it right back to the kid.
Turns out they had a little water show that involved some fire as well. Most of the kids liked it. Caleb wasn't so sure.
Getting our smash pennies.
There are so many things your could do in Branson so it was kind of hard to choose but the kids ended up going mini golfing while Caleb napped in the car.
For dinner we went to Mel's hard luck diner. It was a cute, yummy diner where the waiter/waitresses take turns singing to the guests. It was a fun environment, noisy but fun!
To wrap up the day we went swimming at the VRBO.
