Celebrate and Morn

We ran to the grocery store early one morning and had donuts and chocolate milk in the back of the car. They also each wanted a picture. 

We watched a girl in our ward, Emery. She is between Hannah and Isaac in age. She was a fun friend to have that day!

Tuesday evening we got to go to the aquatic center. The kids didn't want to leave.

Thursday we drove down to Burley for Grandpa Searle's viewing and funeral. Steve dropped me off at the funeral home to help set up a memorabilia table and he took the kids to my parents house. Some sweet family friends had dropped off all this pizza! Seriously so nice!

Grandpa's funeral was beautiful! 

98 great grandkids. Not all were up there but what a legacy! They sang "Families can be together forever".

The cousins did a farm equipment/buggy procession to the cemetery. A very fitting tribute. One mans choice to farm has effected so many.

Steve, Isaac, and Eli rode in the procession together, in the only fully green tractor. If you know the Searle side of my family there's always been a joke between green and red tractors.

On Saturday we did corn. It ended up that we had so much help and got it all done before lunch. That doesn't happen too often. Now we have yummy corn in the freezer!

Eli is loving trains lately.
