Bless your heart! - tennessese

Steve had a business trip to Nashville, TN and he invited me to go. It worked out with babysitters for the kids so we went. So grateful for those that helped make it happen. 

We left Monday evening and got into Tennessee at like 1am. It took another while to get the rental car so we were very tired when we finally got to the hotel.

The next morning Steve got up and went to work. His supervisor (Ryan) and his wife (Megan) came as well so the men got up in the mornings and ate breakfast and drove to work in one rental car and then Megan and I got up later and had breakfast and did the vacation thing. It was a little weird being on vacation but Steve was still in the work mode. It was fun but a little different.

The first morning we walked around Broadway, basically Tennessee's Vegas. Not exactly our favorite but the live music was pretty fun!  

We later went to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. It was really a bunch of clothes on display, there were some papers with country singers notes on them. The best part was the air conditioning! We were always on the hunt for air conditioning. It was so humid and hot.

At our hotel the mirror in the bathroom had a ring light and it made your eyes look so creepy.

The second day after work we went to the Opryland hotel and its just huge. It had like a garden inside, restaurants, a boat ride, and fountains. It was very impressive!

The hotel had a roof top pool.

Our last day we went to a town called Franklin and walked down their main street. It was a bunch of fun shops and a cute old time feel. Better than the Vegas feeling broadway.

Our last evening there we went to the temple. The stake center by the temple is bigger than the temple. It's a little one.

Goodbye rental car. Right before we headed to the airport to fly home we experience a midwest/southern rainstorm. So much rain so fast. We made it to the airport though and weren't delayed.
