Birthday fun!

Logan library had their groundbreaking for their new building. 16 months and we'll have a library again. I can't wait. We miss it!

This is the rendering of the new library.

It will be fun to come back to this spot when its done and see how the library and these three munchkins have changed in 16 months.

We went for a walk and at our friends house they have these sidewalk stamps of paw patrol in front of their house. We always have to stop and admire them.

In preparation for our zoo trip...later in this post. Each kid choose two animals to learn about. They choose giraffes, lions, gorillas, and grizzly bears. When we learned about grizzlies I sent them on a bear hunt (scavenger hunt). It was a huge hit. They loved running all over the place looking for bear prints. We will have to do it again! At the end they found their teddy bears, a treat and the movie we're going on a bear hunt.

On Friday we had planned a trip to the Hogle zoo. It wasn't ideal weather but we decide to venture anyways.

Eli would not turn around for the picture. He didn't want to turn his back on this thing. Ha!

As we walked into the zoo a lady walked up to us and gave us 3 tickets for the carousel. She said they didn't end up using them. The kids loved it!

Fruit bats. If you watch Bluey you'll know that my kids were so excited to see these.

We had such cool views of this polar bear. He is massive!

The weather held out for us for a while but we did get rained on. We had to get creative with our ponchos.

Steve got a 3d printer and has been having fun with it.

Steve had a birthday on Sunday! I kind of did a terrible job taking pictures but the primary sang to him at church and after he asked the kids to guess how old he was. They did eventually get it (35) but 43 might have been guessed.

After church we had a linger longer dessert thing and the ward sang to him then as well. We did presents later and had the loganites over for dinner. Had cake and ice cream.

Learned that Eli and Hannah prefer the ice cream and Isaac prefers cake. We love you Steve!
