Steve was gone Tuesday-Thursday this week at a workshop in South Jordan. It originally was only going to be overnight but because of the weather plans changed. Single parenting is tough. The nasty weather didn't help but we tried to make the most of it. We had cousins over for a movie and mostly just stuck to our normal stuff. Grocery shopping, school, gymnastics, eating, napping, cleaning, eating some more.
We were excited to have Steve back home!
We talked to the painter who is going to paint our kitchen. He came over to look at the kitchen again and talk about how it will go. He is finishing up a big job in Bear Lake so the last week in April or the first week in May it will happen. On Saturday we ordered our counter top. They will start that process in May sometime. Hoping it all comes together!
Sunday was a full day. We all had something to do for sacrament meeting. Steve conducted and sang (i'm sure he did more stuff I don't know about). I played the piano for two musical numbers. Hannah and Isaac sang with the primary and Eli's job was to stay on the bench and play with Tami and Kendra. He did a good job!
In primary the kids earned a surprise for filling up a puffy (pom pom) jar. They surprise was two live bunnies came to primary.
We did an easter egg hunt in the yard and enjoyed the nice weather. Crazy to think we had snow a good portion of the week.
We are so thankful for this Easter to celebrate our Savior!
