Goodbyes, Birthdays, and fun firsts

On Steve's birthday we found out that Gerty was totalled :( so we made the choice to sell her and say goodbye! We went and cleaned her out and said goodbye! That car has taken us many a places and has been such a good car! Sad that what was classified as a fender bender took her out.

Opening presents. When do kids learn to sit BACK and watch the present being opened. They still crowd the person haha!

On Saturday Hannah and Isaac had their Tavaci concert. They did a wonderful job and G&G Warner came to watch.

After the concert we met at Stoker's church building for dinner and had Steve's birthday cake/ice cream.

Just some random pictures from the week. Play dough creation by Hannah.

We cleaned the van really well. It was something seeing all these carseats lined up. The cleaning also lasted a whole day maybe before the crumbs started appearing. I do have more respect for car detailer.

We saw a sky writer flying around and this is what they wrote.

Not sure how this is comfortable or how Isaac just let him do it but I found these two watching a show like this.

May 3rd we were in Twin for Oli's birthday bowling party! His parents said he could invite a couple friends to go bowling. His first requests were Santa and the Easter bunny, when those didn't pan out he asked for Hannah, Isaac, and Eli! So cute, we had to make it happen! It was a quick trip but a very enjoyable one.

Steve did a little vehicle shopping while in Twin and learned that trucks are in much better condition in Utah opposed to Idaho. People in Idaho actually use their trucks for work I guess :)

May 7th Steve took off work and we drove down south of SLC to shop for trucks. We all went in case he found something and we needed to drive back in different cars. We stopped at a couple places on our way down. By then Steve knew what truck he wanted to try and buy.

We ate some lunch and he dropped me and the kids off at thanksgiving point to play while he went back and did inspections, negotiating, paperwork, yada yada... It was a good set up. I did feel torn needing/wanting to be with the kids but also wanting to be with Steve but you just have to divide and conquer sometimes.

They had this tractor simulator that the kids loved. You'd try and plow the field before the timer was up.

We rode a train.

Played at a park.

Saw lots of animals. Mama pig and her piglets...so cute!

We hopped over to the museum of ancient life. The kids were pretty quick going through the exhibits but then we found this sand/water place that the kids loved! A giant sensory bin.

While we played Steve bought a truck.

The truck doesn't have a name yet but we are glad we found something and Steve is happy with it!

Other fun news, Isaac lost his first tooth. It was kind of funny he lost his tooth on the same day Hannah got a tooth pulled at the dentist. We are hoping pulling her tooth with allow for the adult tooth to come in correctly. The tooth fairy was busy at our house!
