Birthdays and blessings

Our coop is coming along. I really hope by June we can have all the chickens and chicks outside and out of the garage. It is so dusty in the garage with them in there.

Mother's Day was wonderful! The kids were sweet and made pictures and cards for me. Steve got me an air fryer. The kids had an impromptu marshmallow and toothpick building. We will have to do this again because the only reason they stopped was because they ran out of toothpicks.

Steve had his last day of work at Thermo on Friday (May16). 9 years he worked there. He wasn't that sad to leave the company but its some of the people that are hard to leave and the familiarity of the whole thing. Change can be hard but we have been praying for this change for what feels like a long time. We are just grateful!

We used the truck for something useful! Got sand for the sandbox we gave Eli for his birthday. That kid can play in a sandbox for hours, which he has. We also are just learning over and over and over to not throw sand (mostly Caleb). I hope he gets it soon and its a more peaceful activity.

Then we celebrated birthdays birthday!

Eli turned 5! We had a little friend party for him.

We had sensory bins for the kids to play in at the party. These rainbow noodles looked pretty cool. Eli is all about the rainbow and things need to be in the correct order. Aunt Jessie and him are cut from the same mold.

We had an orbeez bin and moon sand.

He wanted ice cream sundaes instead of cake.

The only thing he really wanted was a piƱata so we made sure to make that happen.

For his birthday date he choose to eat at sams club and then after he wanted to go play at chick fil a. Ha! We were so full that we didn't want to order anything so we just walked in and Eli played in the play place. We didn't feel too bad. We spend a lot of money at the establishment.

The is was Isaac's turn! 7 is big!

He got to open a gift before church. He was a bit bummed his birthday was on a Sunday but we tried to make the most of it.

He wanted a s'mores cake and we were pretty proud of this cool cake. Hard to cut but very fun looking.

We decorated a little cupcake to sing to Eli.

For Isaac's birthday date he choose to go to Costa vida and then we walked around Deseret book and got a crumbl cookie. I can't believe we are a year away from 8. We made these little videos for the boys birthdays and man its going so fast. It was fun for them to see videos of themselves as littles.

Cute little construction boy!

Steve's first day at Cytiva was Monday (May 19). He found out that he has an actual office.

Steve also signed up to be a test driver for the lemon squad a while back and got his first test drive this week. This was the truck he test drove. What a crazy couple weeks of blessings and new oportunities!
