August is here! How is Sister Wright from upstate New York?

That conversation sounded so weird! My favorite part had to be inside the womb of the universe! Yes so glad the gospel makes sense!

Isaac sleeps in our room still and Hannah sleeps in the other room. Isaac does have more olive to his skin. 

Isaac also has started laughing a little this week. Hopefully I can get a good video to send next week.

Last week Hannah yelled DADA in sacrament meeting...this week she didn't exactly yell but pretty loud she'd say AMEN after almost every testimony... :) hahaha!

Our week didn't go quite as expected but good nonetheless.

Tuesday we had a primary activity. Since January we've had the kids each week look for ways they feel or see Heavenly Father's love for them and than on Sunday's we'd have them come up and share how and put a fluff ball in a jar. They filled it up and we had this activity.

We made tissue paper flowers (which the kids and some moms really enjoyed making) and big cards for some people in our ward. Than we split into groups and delivered them. I hope the kids liked showing love to others. We than had popsicles! 

Steve took Tuesday off of work so he could 1. Stay with the kids while I did the primary activity and 2. so we could go down to Murray and get a Lasik consultation. We went to that and decided to get Lasik for Steve!...and they had an opening on Friday! THAT FRIDAY! It was kind of crazy. So we went for it. Steve's been talking about doing it and we've saved for a long time for it. 

Steve gets a little weird when he's nervous!

The room was pretty much glass so you could watch all the surgeries. These machines cut the flaps...IN YOUR EYEBALLS! Steve said this was the most painful part.

This machine is the actual laser that corrects your eyes. We were talking to a guy who had it done a week ago...he was watching his wife get her's done and he said this machine is where you can smell the laser burning your eyeballs...it smells like burnt hair. Steve said that was true.

He's done! He donated his glasses! 

The first 4 or so hours after the surgery were the worst but he is doing great now. Still have some healing to do but he can see! Its pretty amazing what they can do. He goes for his post op appointment tomorrow so we will see how things look.

The rest of the week was ministering visits and staying out of the heat. We did get a rainstorm this week and it was SO NICE! It smelt heavenly. I think heaven will smell like that :)

I was released as the primary president today...yeah...such such mixture of emotions. I do know its the best thing right now...its just hard to leave...hard to not be with the cute kids....and its going to be hard going back to RS! :)
