Weekend Hotel

Sister Kendra Stoker,

Funny how the week can be full of such good things and then not such fun stuff. I'm assuming you didn't want to write about Sunday because it was rough...way to just focus on the positive though. Sometimes thats ALL we can do!

We are getting close to finishing the bathroom. I think baseboards and backsplash are the last things.

We decided to raise the vanity.

Eventually we'll refinish the vanity but for now its just what it is.

Steve has taught Hannah to do shadow puppets at bedtime. I caught this picture one night. So cute!

We visited Stokers and they are watching Sara's Grandma's little bird. Hannah was pretty fascinated. 

All the little kids were sitting on the stairs eating their fruit snacks so I pulled out my camera to snap a cute pic...ha! They must have known and all moved or stood up within a second. These are what we got....probably just as cute!

Steve's parents came for a quick visit on Friday and Saturday. We all enjoyed it!

Also on Saturday about an hour after his parents left Steve's brother Jake, 2 friends, and his new puppy came to stay overnight.

You could say our house was a hotel this weekend.

Hannah went back and forth from liking the dog to not really wanting anything to do with her. She was a cute puppy!

Steve was telling me about a lesson he learned on not judging too quick. 

We got some more snow last night/ this morning probably about 4 inches.

Steve was blowing the driveway before his meetings and our neighbor across the way has a pickup with a plow on front and he was out doing his driveway.

 Steve said he was watching him and he did his driveway lickety split but left a pile of snow in the road that cars were having to go around. Steve was kind of ticked that he did that. After a few Steve noticed the neighbor was down the road doing other driveways. So don't judge too quickly.
