January activities

Isaac went through a fire phase a bit ago. We had some nicer days so we went out and started fires. It was actually a pretty fun activity. We sat out there and read our read aloud and kids roasted marshmallows. We only had mini marshmallows so that kept them busy for a minute.

Steve has had some high blood pressure and has had some side affects from it. So we now own a blood pressure cuff and have started some supplements to hopefully help. We also have been trying to walk/get out and move our bodies more. It's hard when it's cold to get out but we've just had to force ourselves to do it. One evening we went out and this mama deer and baby were just sitting in our front yard.

When it is too yucky to walk outside we go to the church gym. The kids just play and play with balls or whatever while we walk our laps. It's been good for all of us not just Steve.

Caleb has also been into "going potty" he pulled down his pants and was sitting on this ball like a toilet. Silly kid! I think we have successfully gotten rid of his binky, he also is refusing to sleep in his sleep sack anymore...he is just getting big!

Crowding around Aunt Sara to watch how flamingos fly.

This "bean bag" finally gave up the ghost. It had so many holes so we cut her open and bagged her up. It really did open up the basement so that has been nice.

Hannah made these after church one day.

Celebrated Bubba's birthday.

This is also a favorite spot for Caleb.

We were excited to get a bookshelf from G&G Stoker's house and so we took all the books off the shelves and rearranged them. Found Caleb on-top of the pile of books looking at books.

Bell playing

All sitting on the washer as it spinned.

Aunt Jessica inspired us to try our had and making tie blankets. It was fun to see how they turned out! The kids were great little tiers.
