Yard work and Mother's day

My pictures once again uploaded backwards. I think blogger just switches how the pictures insert just to mess you up.

Mother's day was fantastic! I even got a picture. They are getting so big!

Steve 3D printed this frame for me. How cute is that!

These kiddos made me a card and Hannah and Steve got these flowers at home depot. Hannah wanted to make sure I knew where the flowers came from :)

We had planned to go to Burley this weekend but there was sickness going around at my parents house so we stuck around here. Saturday we planted some grass to make the garden area a little smaller and hopefully more manageable.

Steve (and Eli) mowed the lawn.

Our stake planned a hike Saturday morning in-preparation for those headed on trek this summer. It was on the Bonneville trail. We dropped a car off at the temple, where they would end,  then I and the kiddos dropped Steve off at the Stake center where he got a ride to the trailhead.

The halfway point was 1st dam so the kiddos and I met Steve there and did half the "hike" the first half was way more of a hike, the second half we did was more like a walk. The kiddos did incredibly well. It's a little bit of a walk from 1st dam to the temple so they were troopers. Glad we didn't do the whole hike though. Someday maybe.

Probably the kids favorite part was after resting at the temple we piled in our Camry to drive back to 1st dam to get the van. Don't report us but they got to sit in the backseat without carseats and they were thrilled about that!

Planting grass.

This week we also continued to check on our neighbors chickens, cats, and peas. The "checking on" didn't take very long but the "lets play in their backyard" always took longer.

Our neighbors were working on their yard this week and had a mini excavator and cement truck there. We got a kick out of that.

We have been into making these snack trays in the afternoon. The kids think its so fun to pick and choose.

Isaac fell asleep during quiet time. Doesn't happen very often anymore.

We got our countertops templet taken this week. Still probably won't be installed till the end of the month or so but one step closer.

Painter comes this afternoon (fingers crossed!)
