Aloha! 

We did it we packed everything!

21 people's luggage.

So thankful for helpers!!!

The kids did so well traveling. Also thank heavens they didn't make those little 2 year olds wear masks. Isaac wouldn't have done it. Hannah did awesome with the whole mask thing. Better than me for sure.

Each kid did take a nap on the flight which was so needed because we didn't get to bed till 3 am our time.

We landed in Hawaii at like 10 something on Dec 31. New Years eve. There were so many fireworks! Such a cool view from the airplane.

It was so nice having the beach in our backyard. With so many little kids and schedules it was nice to just walk out to the beach.

We saw alive puffer fish as well but you could have quite the treasure hunt on the beach each day. 

Hannah organized the shoes one day.

The temple was literally across the street. We will have to go back one day to actually go inside.

The view standing at the temple. The church bought the land at the end of the lane so no one would build there and ruin the view of the ocean. 

It was so fun seeing our kids reactions to the beach/ocean. Isaac and Hannah weren't huge fans of the ocean but we loved the sand. I think if we stayed longer they would have come around.

There are tunnels that go through mountains.

You just drive right underneath.

We went to the dole plantation. We learned that it takes like 22 months for a pineapple to grow.

We got ourselves some pineapple dole whip and played on the grass.

They were all trying to pull Paytin in the wagon.

The house didn't have a bathtub. So the kitchen sink became the tub. It worked rather well.

We went to a flea market thing and bought the little girls these Hawaiian dresses. They loved them!

We went on the pillbox hike.

Along the way we came across these stables full of horses. Isaac thought this was pretty cool.

This pillbox was used in WW2.

Steve and Brad went golfing one morning. Steve said the corse was rather bad but the views were amazing!

We took turns letting the couples go out on a date while the others watched the kiddos. We went to 7 brothers and it was delicious! Such a flattering pic. It was huge and so good. How do you eat such things!

We also got this yummo shaved ice!!

We went to the pearl harbor memorial. It was fun to learn more about it.

Isaac is so fast at finding my phone. If he finds it he swipes to the camera and starts clicking. Here is some of his Hawaii works.

There was a big fenced field that had a ton of horses in it. We saw them one day while driving home and said we should go back there with Isaac sometime. When we went back there were like 2 horses in the distance. We should have just stopped the first time. 

Heading back home. Those darn masks! I was ready to burn mine by the end.

Land! Land! Solid land! I had to force myself to not think about the fact that we were flying over the ocean. Kind of scary!

Long travel day! We made it to Twin falls and slept at Warner's! SOOO glad they live there and could be our stopping point!

 It was fun! It was exhausting! But great adventures require great effort! Till next time Hawaii.
