On the 23rd, we went to Pocatello. Turns out, Steve was chosen as one of 60 finalists out of like 9000 to have a chance to win a Jeep from Idaho Central. Pretty cool, huh!
We got there and grabbed some little snacks and went to a table with just a girl sitting there. After a quick trip to the bathroom, Steve came back and recognized the husband of the gal that was sitting there. It was Austin Bland he is from Twin and Steve knew him.
Well, the format was to take the 60 down to 30, then to 10, then to 3 and finally a winner would be announced. It was such a crazy thing. There were two Stevens called. Neither of them were our Steve, but he did finally get called. Austin and Steve made it into the top 10.
He thought he was going to have a heart attack. It seemed like they were taking so much time to call the last three. Neither of them made it, but it was a pretty fun experience and we got a $50 gift card.
