Surprise Temple Trip!

We had a last minute trip to Twin last weekend. Jake had planned to go through the temple the next weekend but they decided with the Farwell and family coming it would be too much. So at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday the 21st we found out he was going through at 4:00 p.m. that day. So we packed up and left a couple hours later. Steve’s family didn’t know we were coming, we decided just to surprise them J We got there early and got to be the witness couple. Carol, Steve’s mom, couldn’t find her recommend and we were scared she wouldn’t be able to come. It was an intense couple of minutes. Thank heavens for phones! They called her Stake President and voilà she was able to come! It was so worth the trip! The Temple is great but its even better when your family is there with you.
