Nauvoo

When we were done at Liberty we continued on to Nauvoo, Illinois. We woke up early that morning and went to the Nauvoo Temple. It was such an amazing experience. It just amazes me how beautiful this temple is and how much was sacrificed to build it so many years ago. It was a beautiful morning and a great way to start our day in Nauvoo.

We went on a wagon ride, which if you ever go to Nauvoo make time for it because
it tells you so much of the history behind the many homes and buildings.

We went to the Family Living Center, where you learn about how families back then did different things. Very fun place!

We made a rope

Learned how they made bread. Also we ran into this sweet lady in the picture,
Sister Garrard, from Burley that is good friends of my family.
