Our next stop was Cathage Jail. This was Steve’s favorite part. My family did a church tour when I was about 14 and it was so fun but this time I knew more of the History and appreciated some things more. One thing I noticed while visiting these different jails now that I’m married was how strong the wives of these amazing men had to be. How they had to endure hard trials and persecution without their husbands. Such amazing women!

Our last stop before the 15 hour drive back to Idaho was in Omaha, Nebraska trail center. Things didn’t work out for us to see Julie but we got to take a wonderful tour from Sister Jones. After the tour we told them we were related to Julie and oh were they thrilled and told us what a wonderful missionary she is. They called her the “yoda of missionaries.” We have to brag a little bit. Julie was born to be a missionary and has done an amazing job!
