We came home from all the celebrations on January 1st and that night the sickness began. Caleb threw up and all the kids came down with it pretty much one by one. Steve and I were spared the stomach bug but both got pretty nasty colds. Thats how we spend the first 7-10 days of the new year.
We took the side off of Caleb's crib to make it a big boy bed. He kept climbing out. So for safety we figured this was the best plan. You can see it is flipped around in this picture because it took him a few nights to warm up to the idea. He kept asking for the side back. Happy to repot he has gotten use to it.
Hannah got checked out by the Ortho this month. No immediate work needs to be done but we are watching a couple teeth to see what they do so we can make a plan for her 4 missing adult teeth.
Steve's work sent him to a USU basketball game.
Caleb has been doing quiet time which is basically he puts himself down for a nap. He was sleeping under this bin one day.
At work they took a group photo and then one of the guys had Ai change it. This is the picture they got. Steve is the one with the beard in the royal blue shirt in the front. It doesn't even look like him! We had a good laugh about this though.
Hannah also started an art class this month. She has asked to do something like this so we are trying to make it work.
Jan 17th we went to Rexburg to visit the Smiths! The Teton river temple is coming along and Rexburg has changed quite a bit since we were there.
We were all healthy and got to see Semayah!
Helping Uncle Daghen take out the trash.
The men and the kids went to an airplane museum while I stayed and held Semayah while Adriana napped. The kids said they had fun!
Steve replaced the headlights on the van. They were so fogged up. They are mucho better now.
The two big kids have done some skiing this month with Austin and have loved it! We are appreciate him taking them so much!
Steve went to an orthopedic doctor to get his knee checked. It clicks and can hurt sometimes. Basically he has a fat clump by/under his patella that gets inflamed and causes those things. So really the answer was keep the inflammation down and loss some weight.
Steve did virtual golf with his work golf group.
This is a picture of the garbage can. So cool!
