Monday morning some teenagers from another religion were knocking doors and talking about Jesus. I kind of try and avoid these salesy type door knockers but sometimes we are at the kitchen table and our windows face the front steps so its hard to just ignore them. Also my kids run to the window when someone knocks on the door so that ruins the stealthy avoidance as well. Anyways...
...our kids were coloring pictures when these teenagers showed up and the kids ended up giving them a picture they had been coloring. Isaac was sad after they left with the picture. So we talked about how happy it made the teenagers when they gave them the picture. The kids came up with the idea to hand out pictures to people walking by our house. They recruited the neighbor kids and they gave out pictures.
The above mentioned teenagers were with a larger group of teens and a bunch of them came walking by the house, i'm assuming back to cars or something, and they were able to give them each a picture as they passed.
This carried on to giving away/selling water all week.
Eventually we got them lemonade to sell but I think over the week they made like $50. People are so sweet! It was a fun source of entertainment.
All our kids have napped in this chair.
Hannah wanted to hold the baby so we gave her Eli. He isn't a baby anymore.
More lemonade/water selling.
On Friday evening our ward had a campout. We just went up for the evening but were not up for camping with little Caleb. The kids enjoyed playing in nature and eating s'mores. Besides a little rain it was beautiful!
Saturday Casey and Kelsee Hyde were in Logan for some Baseball stuff so they stopped by and we got chick-fil-a to eat in the backyard. The kids played and Isaac got a hold of my phone so here is a mini version of Isaac's photography.
Still loving holding this little guy.
The big kids were all sitting in this chair randomly so I snagged a picture remembering that we use to take pictures in this chair when they were little little. 2020 to 2023. Such big kids!
