Southern Utah!

July 19th -
Drove to Burley.

July 20th -
Went to Kara's homecoming & drove to Logan to see Will and take his newborn pictures.

July 21st -
Met Steve's family in Willard to drive to Kanab.
Stopped in Richfield to pick up Steve's Mom who had been in Monticello visiting her Mom.
Went out to eat at pepper bellys with Steve's Great Aunt Sherry & Uncle John (Uncle Grandpa John).
Then went to Walmart to get groceries for the trip.
Got to Kanab and settled into the townhouse.
Noticed that the air conditioning wasn't working very well.
Forgot some things so we went to the grocery store. They had the cutest little mater truck that would talk.
Explored Kanab a little bit and went on a little hike.
Went swimming and there were bats flying around.
Was very hot in the house that night.

Seriously they had the biggest cups. The picture really doesn't do it justice. 

July 22nd -
Went to the Grand Canyon
Went on the hardest hike of our lives! We are so out of shape.
Steve and Scott climbed up in the attic and tried to look what was wrong with the air conditioning.
No luck!
Emailed the landlords about the air conditioner not working very well.
Went swimming and watched Here Comes The Boom in the air conditioned clubhouse.

July 23rd -
Drove to/throw Zion's national park
Totally missed the turn off (by like 20 minutes) because we stopped for gas and didn't see the sign :)
Stopped for a picnic lunch in Zion's,
Went through a mile long tunnel.
Saw a lot of deer.
Went to St. George and Julie, Steve, and I went to the temple
It was 115 degrees that day in St. George
Came back through Zion's & went on a bus ride through the park
Got back to Kanab late and tried to find somewhere to eat but everywhere was closed
Ate dinner at home and found out that they had fixed the air conditioner. Alleluia!!!
Found out Brad & Jessica are going to get married!

July 24th - 
Slept in.
Dad & Julie got up and went to the coral pink sand dunes and Moqui Cave.
The kids went to Lake Powell.
Jake & Scott flirted with some french girls.
While we were gone the parents hung around the house. Someone came to do an inspection of the house because apparently the landlords were in the process of selling the place :)
The Buntings came over and we played Scategories and ate snacks.
Watched the Lego movie.

July 25th - 
Steve and I got up and went to the coral pink sand dunes and Moqui Cave.
Had to wait a little while for the Moqui Cave to open.
Coral sand dunes were so cool and the softest sand we have ever felt.
Drove to Orderville and had some time to kill till Steve's family got there.
Stopped at The Rock Shop. It had such a cute Flinstones theme. Ate ice cream and looked around for a while.
Drove around Orderville and ate at Soup Town.
Met Steve's family and went to the Cemetery and The DUP Museum and saw where.....???? lived
Drove back to Kanab and went through the Heritage house. Where Thomas Chamberlain lived later in is life.
Went to the park for the Thomas Chamberlain Reunion.
Took a group picture, ate dinner, played around. Scott, Steve, and I went swimming at the city pool. It was a pretty cool pool with a water slide and a lazy river.
Came home and started packing up.

July 26th - 
Woke up early and drove to Burley.
Found out Steve's Grandma Christensen had passed away the night before. We were so grateful that his Mom was able to see her one last time.
Did Clayson's reception pictures that night.

2062.5 Miles later we made it home to Idaho Falls!
