In loving memory: Grandma Warner

On New Years day we got the awaited news that Grandma Warner had passed away. We're going to miss her! I'm sad my kids won't get to know her but I guess she might be meeting my kids before I do! We'll think of you every time we make one of your many yummy recipes!

TWIN FALLS • Juanita Raedene Warner (went by Raedene), 74, of Kimberly, Idaho, died at the St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center on Jan. 1, 2014, after a two-year battle with cancer.

She was born Dec. 22, 1939 in Heyburn, Idaho, the daughter of Edna Irene Brower Tilley and Clarance Ross Brower. She attended schools at Heyburn until it was consolidated and graduated from Minico High School in 1958. She went to college at Brigham Young University for two years.

She married Derral C. Warner on Aug. 11, 1960, in the LDS Temple in Idaho Falls. She was the devoted mother of six children, Jeff (Carol), Pamela, Bradley, Mark (Angie), Eric(Kathy), and Heather (Cody) Aston. She has 18 grandchildren and five great grandchildren who were the delight of her life.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings in the Primary and Relief Society. She was a giver all her life and asked for nothing in return. Her family and religion were the center of her life. She loved raising roses and camping with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Derral, three sons (Jeff, Mark and Eric), and two daughters (Pamela and Heather). She was preceded in death by both parents and one son, Brad.

The family would like to thank all the many people at MISTI and St. Luke’s Medical Center for the loving care she was given during her battle with cancer.

Friends may call on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road in Twin Falls. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at 10 a.m. at the Kimberly LDS Stake Center. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at the Spanish Fork Cemetery in Spanish Fork, Utah at 11 a.m.
