In the morning we went to the Rexburg parade with Jessica and really had a fun time. I love seeing all the floats, horses, cute dancers and my all time favorite seeing the little kids reactions when they start throwing candy :) After the parade we went and made pizza and salad at the apartment, which was SO tasty! The rest of the afternoon was pretty lazy just watched some TV and took a nap. We have found we love Arby's salads, so for dinner we got salads and chocolate milk! (haha, not your traditional 4th of July food)
We were going to go to the freedom celebration in Idaho Falls but decided we didn't want to fight the crowds and traffic. So we went to the ones at the Rexburg rodeo. They were pretty pathetic but it was fun to go to the park and play cards and eat popsicles.
When we got home we watched the Idaho Falls fireworks on the internet through a live stream. They were amazing even on the computer screen! Maybe next year we'll go to them.
The fireworks in IF ARE amazing. It's worth it to fight the crowds at least once while you are there! Glad you enjoyed the holiday...it's one of my favorites!
