Firsts: School and glasses

Our chicken run had a cloth like cover on it. We knew it wouldn't last too long but we had some unusual wind the last little bit that it got ripped to shreds. It was probably a blessing though because it made us get a real roof on this thing. Thank you Bubba for coming and helping lift the thing.

A friend and her two boys invited us to mack park to play in the river. The kids had fun floating boats and making dams.

We started school last week but we finally got to pictures!

Isaac went to the eye doctor. A couple months back he "failed" his well check eye exam and they recommended taking him to get his eyes checked. He does need glasses. His eyes are healthy but his right eye has a pretty heavy prescription. His left eye has just learned to compensate for what his right eye lacks. I'm excited to see if this helps with some frustration we've had with reading.

Steve also went and got his eyes checked. Doing good. Lasik is still workin'

Dilated eye buddies

Cool dudes!

He picked out some glasses and hopefully they will be ready soon. He is very excited!

Steve's truck was having some trouble with the turbos. On Saturday he found this pipe/hose that was disconnected. I think he had a good time on Saturday fixing it and he also fixed the sliding doors on the van!

We had a stake family history fair Saturday morning and our stake center is right by the hospital. We had to go check out the medical helicopter.

Saturday night Steve's work, Cytiva, had a summer party.

Summer Adventures

 hi

Had to go see Evie in her Frozen play.

Taking Uncle Paytin to FSY.

Swimming at "Aunt Alisons" (not even our Aunt but thats just what it called"

On our way home from the aquatic center we saw a double full rainbow. It was quite mesmerizing on the way home.

I tried a new supplement Dr Tores recommended and I had a reaction to it. It wasn't too bad just red/hot/blotchy face. Lasted about 30 mins and then the redness was gone after like an hour. We adjusted some things and we'll hope it doesn't happen again.

There are some pictures in this post of Steve hauling things with his truck. He is putting it to work. Hualing kayaks for youth activity. Hauling a trailer to pick up a stranded widow from the ward.

24th of July parade.

Jess and Addie came up for a trip to Lagoon. We weren't able to go to Lagoon but we went the night before and had dinner, swam, stayed in the hotel together and ate breakfast together the next morning. It was a fun time!

Sunday, July 27th we went to Provo to Steve's Aunt Pam's celebration of life. It was different than other funerals we've been too but it was good to go. Drew, Julie, Oli, and Lucas came up the day before and we went to the aquatic center and they spent the night and went to sacrament meeting with us the next day.

August 1-3 we went to Twin for Steve's 20th class reunion and Drew and Julie were moving to a different house in Twin Falls. It was a good time.

Steve went on a tour of his high school and found out there were tunnels under the school.

We went to bass lake for part of the reunion.

Random everyday pictures

Ward campout. We didn't stay overnight but went up for dinner and the evening. We played games that the kids now want to play all the time. Sad and glad we didn't stay over. It was a cool night so we probably would have been pretty chilli.
